Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

RIPLEY - The Ripley Free Library has had a great showing for this year's art exhibit.

Not only does it have beautiful paintings and photography, but this year also includes ceramic and wooden bowls, a handmade guitar along with a stained glass lamp, plus painted tiles and a painted vase. Anyone who has not had the chance to stop in should do so soon. The exhibit ends Saturday, March 30.

The Friends of the Library continue its book sale in the Friends Room with gently used hardbound and paperback books. There is a great selection for adults and children along with many VHS tapes.

Beginning Saturday, April 6, the library is offering a one stroke painting class for beginners with instructor Ada Filutze. This class runs for the four Saturdays in April. The class is free, but participants must purchase their own supplies. Stop by the library for a list of supplies or call 736-3913. Seating is very limited, so call now to register
