Parkinson's support group at Westfield Memorial Hospital
Westfield Memorial Hospital's Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting is held the first Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Mayville Senior Citizens
The Mayville Senior Citizens Club meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Mayville VFW at noon. All area seniors 55 or older are welcome. Bring a dish to pass and personal table service.
The Big Read at Ripley library
The Big Read group will meet every Thursday evening throughout the month of February at the Ripley Free Library at 6:30 p.m., with this year's selection of "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London.

The Westfield Senior Citizens meet on the second Thursday of the month at the YWCA Westfield at noon. Everyone is asked to bring a signed valentine for distribution to the rest of the members in attendance.

Benefit in Hartfield
There will be a benefit for Pam Smith to help with medical expenses for a necessary surgery performed by a surgeon in Texas. The benefit will be held at the Hartfield Fire Hall on Elmwood Rd., in Hartfield on Saturday, March 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost for the spaghetti dinner is $8 for those 13 years old and up, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children ages 5 and under. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 chances.

Towel bingo in Brocton
The Preceptor Beta Epsilon Sorority in Brocton will hold its annual towel bingo on Sunday March 17 from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Brocton American Legion on Main Street. In addition, there will be prizes, a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle, and refreshments will be served. Come and enjoy.

Meatloaf dinner in Dewittville
The Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church will host a meatloaf dinner on Saturday, March from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Along with meatloaf, the $7 donation includes mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, dessert and beverage. The church is on Route 430 at Meadows Road in Dewittville.

Turkey dinner in Westfield
The Kiwanis Club of Westfield-Ripley will be holding a turkey dinner with all the fixings on Thursday, April 25 at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, 15 Union St, Westfield from 5 to 7 p.m., or until sold out. The dinner will include turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, cranberry sauce, a roll and butter, dessert, coffee, tea and punch. The cost is $8 for those 12 and up, $5 for ages 4 to 12 and free for children under 4. The proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
