Chautauqua Lake Central School defeated Warren Area High School 99-21 in a recent WJTN High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.
Mariana Mathewson of Chautauqua Lake earned Player of the Match honors.
Other members of the Chautauqua Lake team were Emilie Christie, Sam Snyder, Benjamin Lawson, Anthony Pezzulo, David Gerber and Molly Hindman. The team is coached by Mary Jantzi and Kim Sweet.
The Warren team, coached by Michael McElhaney, included Molly Berardi, Taylor Proper, Shoshanna Ochocki, Emmi Beuger, and Meghan Stewart.
In another match, Maple Grove High School defeated Chautauqua Lake 104-77. Henry Kestner of Maple Grove earned Player of the Match honors.
The Maple Grove team, coached by Jason VandeVelde, also included Abby Sirwatka, Caroline Benson, Christina Walter, Keith Carolus, Nick Bowers, and Elliott Clark.
Also competing, Sherman Central School defeated Randolph Central School 100-31. Bryan Tenpas of Sherman was named Player of the Match.
The Sherman team, coached by Karen Beimel, also included Alexandria Anderson, Rebekah Anderson and Nick Hlifka.
Members of the Randolph team included Bethany Carr, Peter Vincent, Nolan Ditcher and Adam Ditcher. The team is coached by Jennifer Bieniek.
