Wellness blood analysis being held at Moose

March 6, 2013
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

WESTFIELD - The Westfield Area Community Service Organization is once again sponsoring an AMBA Wellness Blood Analysis for area residents to have a gamut of blood screenings done for such things as coronary disease, diabetes, anemia, kidney disease, liver disease and various other results.

However, due to the sale of the Westfield Firemen's Exempt Association Hall on Bourne St., this year's event will take place at the Westfield Moose Lodge, 19 Clinton St., Westfield, on Saturday, March 2 from 6 to 10 a.m. Call 1-800-234-8888 for an appointment.

This is program has had a wonderful response in the past with many people taking advantage of the analysis whether they have health insurance or not. With the cost so reasonable, and as participants can get the results, it makes a great reference for anyone wanting to monitor their health.

A 13-hour fast is recommended. The basic panel is $38, but optional testing is also available with physicians orders. Payments may be made by check or money order - no cash - payable to AMBA Wellness Programs. A $5 separate handling fee will be charged by WACSO, payable by check or cash.

Juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruit and donuts provided for free. Additionally, the Westfield Moose Lodge will offer a breakfast to anyone interested for a nominal fee.
