The funeral for Ruth E. Bratt, 89, formerly of Baker St. Ext., Ashville, N.Y., and Russell, Pa., who died Feb. 10, 2013, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16 in the Lind Funeral Home, Inc.
The Rev. Violet A. Davidson, pastor of the Ashville and Lakewood United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Music was provide by Dale McMillen, soloist. The bearers were Dale McMillen, Cody McMillen, John Lyon, Bill Jenkins, Brad Shirey and Kim Spicer.
She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Ellison and Ruth Ann (John) Lyon; and her seven grandchildren, John Ellison, Brenda (Brad) Shirey, Edwin (Linda) Ellison, Christine (Bill) Jenkins, Kimberly (Kim) Spicer, Pamela (Dale) McMillen and John (Dawn) Lyon.
