St. Dominic's Altar and Rosary Society will present a soup and sandwich luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. Dominic's parish hall, 17 Union St., Westfield. A variety of homemade soups, freshly made sandwiches, dessert and a beverage are included in the $6 ticket. Take-outs not available. All are welcome.

Westfield Memorial Hospital's Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting is held the first Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Mayville Senior Citizens
The Mayville Senior Citizens Club meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Mayville VFW at noon. All area seniors 55 or older are welcome. Bring a dish to pass and personal table service.
Big Read at Ripley library
The Ripley Free Library welcomes back the Big Read, which is open to the entire family. The group will meet every Thursday at 6:30 p.m., throughout the month of February starting, Feb. 7. This year's selection is "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London.

The Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti and meatball dinner on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Salad, bread, dessert and a beverage are included for the $7 donation. The church is located on Route 430 at Meadows Road in Dewittville.

Chicken and biscuit dinner in Westfield
The Kiwanis Club of Westfield-Ripley will hold a chicken and biscuit dinner on Thursday, Feb. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Dominic's Church in Westfield. The chef for the dinner will be Ron Powers. Cost for the dinner is $7 for adults and children over 12, $5 for children age 4 through 12 and free for children under 4. Proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
