BROCTON - On Jan. 13, Christopher A. Moore, 31, 40 W. Howard Ave., Dunkirk was stopped for failure to use a turn signal while making a righthand turn from Central Avenue onto Greenbush Street. Further investigation led to Moore being charged with driving while intoxicated and having a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more. He was released with appearance tickets and was scheduled to appear in village court at a later date.

RIPLEY - On Jan 19 at 10:53 p.m., Christopher A. Douglas, 23 of 17 Goodrich St., Ripley was stopped for having a loud exhaust. It was further learned that the vehicle had an expired inspection and Douglas was not able to produce proof of insurance.
