MAYVILLE - A fund has been established by the Hartfield Volunteer Fire Company to cover medical expenses for Pam Smith, who was recently diagnosed with Tarlov Cysts Disease, dilations of nerve root sheaths containing cerebrospinal fluids. The dilations have become large enough to impinge the nerves. Because the surgery is intricate and complex, Smith must go to Midwest Neurosurgery in Dallas, Texas.
