WESTFIELD - Kim Helman, 59, of Hardscrabble Rd., Westfield was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right and expired inspection on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
According to the police office, a patrolman on W. Main St., in the Village of Westfield around 12:30 a.m., when the officer allegedly observed a vehicle cross the center lines of the roadway multiple times. Upon further investigation, Helman was allegedly found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Helman was charged and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Casey S. Monroe, 25, of Morris St., Mayville was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and public health law violation possessing a controlled substance outside the original container on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
According to the police office, Monroe was arrested on an allegedly active arrest warrant out of the Westfield Village Court around 10:15 p.m. Monroe was arraigned by Westfield Village Court and remanded to jail on bail. Monroe is scheduled to appear in the Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Spencer J. Laughlin, 20, of Autumnwood Trl., Erie, Pa., and a 16-year-old youth from Erie, Pa., were each charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Monday, Dec. 10.
According to the police office, a vehicle was stopped on W. Main St., in the Village of Westfield for an alleged speeding violation around 2:30 a.m. Upon further investigation, the operator of the vehicle, Laughlin, as well as a 16-year-old Erie youth who was a passenger in the vehicle were allegedly found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. Both subjects were released with appearance tickets and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer charges.
