Westfield Memorial Hospital's Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting is held the first Thursday of every month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Mayville Senior Citizens
The Mayville Senior Citizens Club meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Mayville VFW at noon. All area seniors 55 or older are welcome. Bring a dish to pass and personal table service.
Free demo music class
Growing with Music Together by Kay Barlow is holding a free demo music class on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The class is for children ages babies through pre-kindergarten, parents and caregivers at 369 W. Main St., Fredonia. Call 673-9020 for more information.

Christmas Gifts Galore Sales Day
Emeritus at Lakewood invites will be holding multiple events during December. On Friday,
Dec. 7 is Christmas Gifts Galore Sales Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 30 vendors will be there with a wide variety of items from needlework, glass etching, cutlery, jewelry, wreaths and floral arrangements, wood items and baked goods. Each vendor will be giving a door prize to those who register. There is no admittance fee, so come browse or buy. The Viking Chorus will perform on Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. The Holiday Bell Ringers will perform on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 2p.m. The Happy Grams will perform on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m., followed by the Desperate Measures Music program at 2:30 p.m. The Jamestown High School 60 piece Orchestrawill perform on Friday, Dec. 14. Saved By Grace will sing on Monday, Dec. 17 at 6:15 p.m. The Juniors Guilders will perform on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 6:30 p.m. Tim Stockman will present a big band Christmas for the residents Christmas Party.

WCC's Canticle of
Christmas
The Westfield Community Chorus will be performing the Christmas Cantata "Canticle of Christmas" by Tom Fetke and Camp Kirkland under the direction of Sally Merwin on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Mayville United Methodist Church, Mayville at 4 p.m., and again at the First Presbyterian Church, Westfield at 7:30 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the performances, during which a love offering will be taken. Contact Merwin at 326-3419 with questions.
Holiday Open House
The Chautauqua County Historical Society will hold its annual Holiday Open House on Dec. 9 at the McClurg Museum in Westfield. The event will be the last opportunity for the public to view the exhibit - "Honoring the 9th New York Cavalry." The day will also feature music provided by The McClurg Street String Band, composed of Westfield Academy and Central School music students. Food and refreshments will also be provided. There is no cost to attend the open house, but donations are encouraged. It will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the McClurg Museum in Moore Park, Westfield. Growing with Music Together by Kay Barlow is holding free family sing on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will consist of holiday music and stories for families with young children and will be held at the Patterson Library, 40 S. Hanging Of The Greens
The YWCA?of Westfield will host the annual Christmas open house and hanging of the greens decoration party from 4 to 5 p.m. Reservations are not required. Light refreshments will be served.

The Absolut Care of Westfield's Parkinson's Disease Support Group Meeting is held the second Thursday of the month in the Absolut Care Activity Room from 4 to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 15
Cookie Walk
The Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church hosts its annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon or until sold out. Walk the cookie table and choose favorites for a holiday table or a tasty gift. Cookies are $4 per dozen or six dozen for $23. The church is located on Route 430 at Meadows Rd., in Dewittville.
