Laine Hall, 53, of Mayville passed on peacefully Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 in her home with her husband at her side.
She was born Sept. 15, 1959 in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of George and Meredyth Bloss Meadows.
Laine loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her testimony to God's love and goodness was lifelong, and her legacy will continue. Laine's passion was her family, loving her husband and spending quality time with Jill and the kids. She also loved to decorate and had a gift for making things beautiful. She was a home design enthusiast, loving both crafting and current trends. Laine was a natural counselor and advisor always imparting God's love and grace.
Surviving, besides her mother of Westfield, are her husband, Philip M. Hall; a daughter, Jill (Ben) Gerring of Dewittville; four grandchildren; a brother, Roy Meadows of Stedman; and a sister, Kim Carris of Mayville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Bemus Point United Methodist Church. Ben Gerring officiated. The family received friends following the service in the gallery at the church. A family-only burial service at the Dewittville Cemetery followed the reception.
