RIPLEY - A silent auction is coming to the Ripley Free Library, 64 W. Main St., on Saturday, Nov. 10 with doors opening at 9 a.m.
This year the library will be auctioning off its treasured 30-drawer card catalog along with a 20-drawer, four-drawer and two-drawer units plus pictures, paintings by local artists, a truck hitch, a blood pressure gauge, gift certificates galore, toys and so much more. There will also be a second auction and bake sale. Truly something for everyone.
Plus, a new Kids Book Club will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. This book club will be aimed at children in grades four through six. There's nothing "wimpy" about enjoying a good book, so come and join friends and explore reading.
