WESTFIELD - The magic of the Christmas season is almost here, so save the dates for Christmas In Westfield 2012 to be held Nov., 16, 17 and 18.
There are activities for all ages to enjoy. Santa comes to town on Friday, Nov. 16 to light the tree in Moore Park. Afterwards, children can visit with him and enjoy treats throughout the evening.
The Hall of Christmas, located in Eason Hall, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18. There will surely be something to delight everyone, as over 35 vendors will have fine merchandise available to dazzle early Christmas shoppers. There will be live music both days, and Beth's Parkview Cafe will be serving lunch for hungry shoppers in the North Room of Eason Hall.
Saturday's other attractions include free horse-drawn carriage rides and, by popular demand, the McClurg Mansion will again host Queen Victoria's Tea.
A special addition to Sunday's activities will be the Westfield Women's Organization's Holly Tour. Patrons will enjoy visiting several local homes all dressed for the holidays, be treated to special music during the afternoon and enjoy a scrumptious dessert, all included in the price of the ticket.
