JAMESTOWN - Parent Network of Western New York is holding a workshop titled ASD - Improving Social Challenges on Monday, Oct. 22.
Participants will learn about the social challenges for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and will discover strategies to use at home, school and within the community. The workshop will be held at Connections South, 2887 Fluvanna-Townline Rd., Jamestown from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In addition to this workshop being presented live at location stated, it will also be broadcast via video feed at Connections North, 10825 Bennett Rd, Dunkirk. Specify the preferred location when registering.
Parents who have children and/or young adults with special needs are encouraged to attend. This workshop will provide useful information, tips and strategies. All workshops offered are free of charge for families of individuals with disabilities.
