RIPLEY - Giustino G. Nasca, 21, was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on charges of third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on Thursday, Oct. 4.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies had to remove Nasca from Ripley Town Court around 3 p.m. Nasca allegedly began using loud and abusive language to courtroom personal. During his time in court, Nasca allegedly caused injuries to another individual. He was remanded to jail and will appear in Ripley Town Court on a later date.
RIPLEY - David L. Tackett, Jr., 17, of Colton Rd., Ripley was charged with failure to stop at stop sign, failure to use turn signal, unlicensed operation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Saturday, Oct. 6.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies allegedly observed Tackett's vehicle violating a New York State vehicle and traffic law while investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint around midnight. When Tackett's vehicle was stopped, it was allegedly discovered the vehicle also matched the description of the vehicle in the earlier suspicious vehicle complaint. Tackett was allegedly found to be driving after 9 p.m. on a class DJ license without proper supervision. Tackett's license was also allegedly found to have been suspended on Sunday, Sept. 9 for failure to pay a fine. Tackett was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets.
SINCLAIRVILLE - Mary L. Miller, 22, of Diffley Rd., Ashville was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and unsafe lane change on Sunday, Oct. 7.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Maple St. in the Village of Sinclairville where a car ran into a tree at around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was allegedly found as Miller was operating her vehicle, she veered off the side of the road striking a tree. Miller's vehicle then allegedly proceeded through a lawn on Maple St. and came to rest against a vehicle parked in a driveway on Maple St. It was also allegedly found Miller was operating her vehicle while she was intoxicated. Miller was arrested, released with tickets and will appear in Charlotte Town Court on a later date.
CLYMER - William C. McKillip, 37, of Sherman-Clymer Rd., Sherman was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, DWI 0.08 percent or higher, operation in violation of restrictions, speed not reasonable and following to close on Thursday, Oct. 4.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies were called to the Clymer Corry Rd. for an automobile accident around 4 a.m. An investigation allegedly showed McKillip was operating a vehicle north on Clymer Corry Rd. and rear-ended a farm tractor that was also traveling north. The operator of the farm tractor, Casie Gunsolus, 46, of Clymer, was ejected from the tractor and transported to Corry Hospital for minor injuries. Both the vehicle and tractor were damaged and had to be towed from the scene. McKillip was arrested and will appear in Clymer Town Court on a later date.
