MAYVILLE - A Community HARVEST Walk/Run/Bike event will be held at the Mayville United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 16. Harvest stands for "Healthy food, Active bodies, Resources for the hungry, Values for the community, Effective Changes in the welfare of neighbors, Service to others, Thank you."
Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., while the walk starts at 2 p.m. Teams to walk/run/bike and sponsors are needed.
This walk is to benefit the local area Mayville and Ashville food pantries. As all donations are distributed locally, this is a great event for groups who want to help the needy and have a good time
