BUCKHANNON, W.V. - Zachary Stahlsmith of Chautauqua, and a graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School, plans to attend West Virginia Wesleyan this fall.
CLINTON, N.Y. - Justin S. Smith, son of Nancy and Mark Smith of Mayville and a rising junior at Hamilton College, spent the summer participating in the college's program for research in the sciences and mathematics.
The program is a highly selective opportunity for students of all concentrations to conduct hands-on research in close collaboration with a Hamilton professor. Smith worked with Associate Professor of Computer Science Mark Bailey on a project titled "An investigation of capture, analysis, and visualization of programming sessions" to develop a new text analysis software.
Smith, a computer science and mathematics major at Hamilton, is a graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School.
ALFRED, N.Y. - Kyle Keith of Clymer, the son of Steven Keith of Clymer and Lisa Schmitz of Sherman, is a member of the incoming freshman class - the Class of 2016 - at Alfred University. He is a graduate of Sherman Central School.
