Thomas R. Gustafson, 67, of 3181 Burton Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, in UPMC Hamot, Erie, Pa.
A native of Jamestown, he was born June 27, 1945, a son of the late Donald and Emma Peterson Gustafson.
He was employed by Forrest Rowan as a truck driver.
He loved his man cave, animals and especially Bluegrass music even playing in several area bands.
Surviving are his wife Barbara Johnstone, whom he married June 27, 1976; a son Thomas R. (Cheryl) Gustafson, Jr., of Mayville; two step-children, Shelly Swan of Busti and Charles (Treva) VanGuilder of Jamestown; six grandchildren, Trisha and Cody Gustafson, Travis and Tyler Scott and Andrew and Chad VanGuilder; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Otto "Bud" Gustafson of Florida.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Verna Olson and Dolly Girtson.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18 in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Lee O'Brien officiated. Friends were received for one hour prior to the service Saturday in the funeral home.
