North East Welch Federal Credit Union now open to the community

NORTH EAST, Pa. - The North East Welch Federal Credit Union recently obtained a community charter expansion which now allows it to serve eastern Erie County in Pennsylvania and western Chautauqua County in New York. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in North East or the surrounding communities can now join the credit union.

To celebrate their community expansion, NE Welch FCU is inviting the public to a Community Day Celebration on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Food, fun, prizes and special credit union offers will be available.

Located at 115 Clay Street in North East, Pa., the NE Welch FCU was established by the employees of Welch Foods in North East in May 1953. NE Welch FCU is a member owned, not-for-profit, full service financial institution, formed under the concept of "People helping people."
