NORTH HARMONY - Ryan M. Robbins, 22, of Munger Road in Stockton was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on Thursday, Aug. 9.
According to the sheriff's office, Robbins allegedly subjected a 12-year-old female to sexual contact on Monday, May 21 in the evening hours at a residence in the Town of North Harmony, Stow, N.Y. After a joint investigation was concluded with the District Attorney's office, Child Protective Services and the sheriff's department. An arrest warrant was issued for Robbins by Justice Peacock of North Harmony Town Court. Robbins was picked up at his residence without incident. He was arraigned and committed to jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 property bond.
CHAUTAUQUA - Taylor H. Smith, 23, of Fulton, Mo., was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and insufficient tail lamps on Friday, Aug. 10.
According to the sheriff's office, sheriff's patrol allegedly observed an eastbound vehicle on Route 394 in the Town of Chautauqua with less than two lighted tail lamps. The vehicle was stopped and the operator was allegedly identified as Smith. Following an investigation, Smith was arrested, processed and released to appear in Chautauqua Town Court on a later date.
