MAYVILLE - Donald C. Beaujean Sr., 77, of 7386 Beaujean Road, Mayville, died Wednesday (Aug. 8, 2012) in St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was born Aug. 14, 1934 in Mayville, N.Y., the son of the late Carson and Winifred Barrows Beaujean.
Don had worked at Kling's Furniture in Mayville and had been a self-employed contractor.

He was a life member of The National Rifle Association and was a member of the Westfield Moose Club.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, going to watch the races at Stateline Speedway and watching NASCAR.
He is survived by two daughters, Roxanna Erhard of Mayville and Donette Beaujean of Westfield; two sons, Donald C. (Loni) Beaujean Jr., and Roger L. (Tammy) Beaujean of Mayville; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy (Pete) Bourne of Westfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Linger Beaujean whom he married April 9, 1958 in Portland and who died Sept. 18, 1999; a granddaughter, Jennifer Beaujean; and a sister, Donna Mae Beaujean.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at the Freay Funeral Home, Mayville. Rev. Larry Morrison of the Brocton Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in the Mayville Cemetery.
The family received friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 12 in the funeral home, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
