Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride reminder
The 29th annual Tour of Chautauqua Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, originating and finishing in front of Eason Hall, 23 Elm Street in Westfield. The mass start begins at 9 a.m. Water and refreshment stops and sag wagon services are provided. Helmets are required. Recreational tours of courses of 25, 40, 62, 75 and 100 miles are offered with a meal at the finish. Entries are $20 and receive a Tour of Chautauqua water bottle. Call 326-4243 for more information.
Skate park hours
The Westfield Skate Park is open Monday thru Friday, weather permitting. Helmets are required and a number of them are available for use at the skate park.
Help with yard work and odd jobs
Westfield residents needing help with yard work and odd jobs are asked to call the Westfield Recreation Department at 326-4243 and it will assist in arranging for a local teen to help.
