WESTFIELD - Joseph F. Fabrizio, 51, of Sun Rise Drive in Bemus Point was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, fail to keep right and fail to stop at stop sign on Sunday, July 29.
According to the police office, officers stopped a vehicle on East Pearl Street in the Village of Westfield for traffic violations around 6:30 p.m. Upon further investigation, the alleged operator of the vehicle, Fabrizio, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Fabrizio was taken into custody and later released with uniform traffic tickets. Fabrizio will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer charges.
WESTFIELD - Anthony F. Price, 43, of Route 20 in Westfield was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated child in vehicle, Felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, unlicensed operator, two tickets for rear seat passenger not with proper restraint device and speed in zone on Tuesday, July 31.
According to the police office, a patrolman was on patrol on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield around 11:45 p.m. The officer allegedly observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed for zone on East Main Street. Upon stopping the vehicle, it was allegedly found to be operated by Price. Upon speaking with Price, officers could allegedly smell an odor of intoxicants coming from his breath. An officer allegedly observed two young children not in proper restraint devices in the rear seat of the vehicle. Upon further investigation, Price was allegedly found to be intoxicated and operating the vehicle with young children. Price was also allegedly found to have his privileges to operate a vehicle with New York State to be suspended. Price was charged with three Felonies, two misdemeanors and four traffic citations. He was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and bail was set at $10,000 cash and $20,000 property. Price will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Ernest L. Harriger, 53, of East Main Street in Westfield was charged with disorderly conduct on Thursday, Aug. 2.
According to the police office, the police were investigation an alleged fight between two apartments on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield around 12:45 a.m. During the investigation, it is alleged Harriger continued to use loud, obscene, vulgar language while outside after he was warned by officers not to. Harriger was arrested, charged and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Ryan Kelly, 22, of Clinton Street in Westfield and an 18-year-old female youth of Clinton Street in Westfield were each charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana on Monday, Aug. 6.
According to the police office, it was requested to assist the New York State Parole Department at Clinton Street in Westfield around 8:15 a.m. Upon arrival, parole officers informed Westfield police there was allegedly a small amount of suspected marijuana found in one of the apartments and they needed assistance for a further search due to Kelly being on parole and this was a violation of his conditions for parole. A Chautauqua County Sheriff Department K-9 officer and his K-9 partner Tuker also assisted in the search. During the subsequent search, a large quantity of suspected marijuana was allegedly located in the bedroom of the apartment. Kelly, along with an 18-year-old female Westfield youth were arrested, charged and arraigned in front of Westfield Village Justice Laporte. Kelly was committed to Chautauqua County Jail with no bail. The youth was released under her own recognizance and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer for the charge.
