Charles J. Harding, 47, of Falconer passed away Friday (July 27, 2012) in Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
He was born Nov. 5, 1964 in Jamestown, the son of Richard and the late Harriet Burton Harding.
Charles was a graduate of Panama High School and in earlier years was employed with Bush Industries in Jamestown.
He was a big Star Trek fan, and enjoyed watching movies.
Surviving is his wife, Karen Powell Harding of Falconer whom he married July 16, 1983; three sons, Karl Harding (Tequila Corbly) of Falconer, Tim Harding of Kennedy and Justin Harding of Falconer; a granddaughter, Angela Rose Harding; his father, Richard I. Harding of Ashville; three brothers, David Harding of Ashville, Kevin Harding of Pleasant Valley, N.Y., and Thomas Harding of Findley Lake; a sister, Valerie Harding of Buffalo; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 31 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Keefe Associate Pastor of Fluvanna Community Church officiated. Burial was in Levant Cemetery, Falconer. Friends were received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 in the funeral home.
