North Harmony Senior Citizens

NORTH HARMONY - The North Harmony Senior Citizens met on Monday, June 18 for its annual spaghetti dinner and monthly meeting with 67 attending.

Dinner committee was Bonnie Johnson, Anita and Earl Ferry, Harriet, John and Adrian Smith. The June birthday cake was provided by Laura Palmer honoring Harriet Smith, Steve Saulsgiver, Bill Adamson and Tom Lozier. Dan and Kathy Kelly celebrated a June anniversary.

Well-known radio personality Jim Roselle was the guest speaker. His presentation was enjoyed by all.

After roll call, secretary and treasurer's reports were read and approved. Various committee chairmen gave their reports.

Plans are being finalized for the July 14 Stow Day. The club has a full day of plans which include a lawn sale, crafts, baked goods, sweet treat booth, lunch items, basket raffle and much more. Things get underway at 9 a.m.

Winners in the drawing were Marie Maulding and Paula Czubaj.

A flat of petunias was auctioned off with Loretta Saulsgiver the highest bidder.

The July committee is Steve and Loretta Saulsgiver, Bill and Carol Adamson and Phyllis Huling with Steve and Loretta providing the birthday cake.

Gordy Saulsgiver closed the meeting with prayer.
