WESTFIELD - Finishing at the top of the heap on Thursday, July 19 at Pinehurst Golf Course was the foursome of Dennis Shively, Bob Lokietek, Bob Rogers and Steve Woleben with six birdies and one bogey for a score of five under par.
Trailing by one shot were four teams:
Second place - Todd Swanson, Bill Christ, Ray Cenni and Jim Quinn;
Third place - Dick Furman, Marty Gollnitz and Jesse Marino;
Fourth place - Les Yokom, Al Sam and Butch Joint; and
Fifth place - Ray Lewis, Jim Higginbotham, Vin Paternosh and Gene Noble.
Two teams came in at three under par, which was last week's winning score:
Sixth place - Dave Holser, Mel Allen and Trenny Jordan; and
Seventh place - Sam Arcadipane, Bard Schaack, Keith Rothwell and Harry Barton.
In eighth place at one under par was the team of Bill Cole, Lou Barresi, John Rawlinson and Jeff Greabell.
Prizes for accuracy on the par three holes went to Rothwell on no. 4 and Gollnitz on no. 7.
