WESTFIELD - Stacy's Daycare hosted its second annual lemonade stand on Friday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Stacy Cochran and her staff of youngsters, consisting of Lauren Cochran, Tyler Cochran, Cassidy Phillips, Tristen Phillips, Kadence Phillips and Taylor, decided this year's lemonade stand proceeds would be donated locally to Westfield Memorial Hospital.
Last year's lemonade stand raised just over $400, which was donated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

The goal for this year was to double last year's amount. On a sunny Friday, the children prepared two jugs of lemonade, offering pink and yellow, as well as a variety of baked goods consisting of brownies, cupcakes, muffins and mini loaves of banana bread. Customers were asked to make donations only.
Many local community members, business owners, neighbors, friends and family members visited the lemonade stand. Stacy and the children were busy during its four hours of operation. As the lemonade stand came to a close, everyone was eager to count the proceeds. The grand total raised was $806.87, for Westfield Memorial Hospital.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, made a donation, and visited with Cochran and her "staff." A special thank you to the Women of the Moose for a $100 donation.
