CHAUTAUQUA - Elizabeth M. Nelson, 23, of Sherman-Stedman Road in Mayville was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment on Tuesday, July 17.
According to the sheriff's office, it met with a complainant who alleged Nelson was harassing them via telephone on Monday, July 16. It was then determined there was an active Order of Protection between the complainant and Nelson. After an investigation, Nelson was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court on a later date.
BROCTON - Paul R. Dunn, III, 29, of Route 380 in Brocton was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on Saturday, July 21 and is awaiting an extradition hearing.
According to the sheriff's office, Dunn was wanted out of the State of California for violating a Felony parole. He was listed as a California parolee at large. Dunn was arraigned and will be held in jail until California extradites him.
NORTH HARMONY - Patrick Kutschke, 40, of Dalrymple Road in Sugar Grove, Pa., was charged with following too closely, fail to signal 100 feet before turning, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI per se on Sunday, July 22.
According to the sheriff's office, it received a report of an erratic operator on Route 394 in the Town of North Harmony around 3 p.m. Sheriff's patrol located the vehicle and allegedly observed the vehicle following too closely behind another car, then failing to signal 100 feet before turning onto North Maple Avenue. The deputy stopped the car and, after further investigation, Kutschke was arrested and taken into custody for processing. Kutschke was charged and released to a friend. He will appear in North Harmony Town Court on a later date.
