JAMESTOWN - Marilyn Zagora, vice president and dean of academic affairs, and Eileen Goodling, vice president and dean of student development, have announced the names of students who were awarded degrees or certificates from the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses in May 2012.
A total of 572 students earned degrees and certificates. Seven students earned two degrees, and seven students earned a degree and a certificate. Fourteen students graduated with highest honors, representing a 4.0 grade point average.

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Chelsey Bowen, a student from Ripley, has been named to the spring 2012 dean's list at St. Bonaventure University. Bowen is majoring in accounting.
GROVE CITY, Pa. - Bradley Jopek, a junior Music Education major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester. Bradley is a 2010 graduate of Westfield Central School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Jopek (Nancy) from Westfield.
Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The College at Brockport, State University of New York, recently honored students who excelled academically by naming them to the President's List for the spring 2012 semester.
Tyler Bailey of Clymer was named to the President's List. To achieve the honor of being on the President's List, a student must earn a GPA of 4.0.

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - The State University of New York at New Paltz recently conferred over 1,000 undergraduate degrees. Raisa Aguilar, a resident of Westfield, was among the university's graduates. Aguilar received a BA in Sociology.
BUFFALO - Amanda Jensen, of Ashville, has been named to the spring 2012 dean's list at Buffalo State. Jensen is a fashion and textile technology major. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours.
ALFRED, N.Y. - Over 800 two- and four-year degree candidates received diplomas from Alfred State this spring. Associate and baccalaureate degrees were awarded in fields of agriculture, health, business, vocational, and engineering technology, as well as the arts and sciences.
Michael Pezzulo, a resident of Mayville, received a degree in digital media and animation.
Virginia Schmitz, a resident of Sherman, received a degree in agriculture Technology.
ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, named the following students to the Dean's List for the 2012 spring semester:

AURORA, N.Y. - Sandra Manzella, class of 2015, of Westfield, and Hallie Hanson, class of 2015, of Ashville, were named to the Wells College Dean's List for the Spring 2012 semester. The Dean's List consists of students who earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for at least 12 hours of coursework in a given semester. Sandra graduated from Westfield Central School, and Hallie graduated from Panama Central School.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - James Lesniowski, of Ashville, has earned academic honors at Purdue University for the spring 2012 semester. To earn honors, students must have had at least a 3.5 semester or cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Roberts Wesleyan College is pleased to announce Gretchen Golibersuch and Mary Kay Rambuski were named to the Dean's List for outstanding academic performance for the spring 2012 semester.
