Ripley Free Library 07/19/12

July 25, 2012
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

RIPLEY - Ripley Free Library will hold its annual Salad Night on Thursday, July 19 at 6 p.m.

All children in the Summer Reading Program are encouraged to make a large salad of any kind - tossed, fruit, macaroni, potato, etc. - and bring it to the library to share. By doing so, they will complete one square on their bingo sheets.

This event has become so popular, the library now extends this invitation to everyone in town. Just make a large salad and bring it to the library to share. The library will provide hot dogs and something to drink. This is a great time to have a great meal, chat with friends and check out the library.

In other library news, The Friends of the Library have opened up the Friends Room where gently used books at bargain price donations can be found. Check it out.
