MAYVILLE - Mary Adelia Coleman, 90, formerly of Davis Road, Mayville, died Thursday (July 12, 2012) in Absolut Care in Westfield.
She was born Jan. 23, 1922 in West Hickory, Pa., the daughter of the late Louis and Marian Bowles Johnson.
Mary, along with her husband, had owned and operated a dairy farm. She had also worked at Chautauqua Hardware in Jamestown and Yorktown Industries in Lakewood.

Mary was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and a woman's bowling league. Mary enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles and going to Florida in the winter.
She is survived by three children, Dale Coleman of Stockton, Charlene LaCross of Ashville, and Scott Coleman of Dewittville; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; a brother, Bill Johnston of Erie, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard H. Coleman whom she married Jan. 8, 1946 in Falconer and who died Nov. 15, 2010; and one brother, Francis "Peanut" Lebarron.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 17 in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. Burial was in the North Harmony Cemetery. The family received friends for one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday in the funeral home.
