RIPLEY - David P. Muscarella, 26, of Clinton Street in North East, Pa., was charged with fugitive from justice and unlawful possession of marihuana on Thursday, June 28.
According to the sheriff's office, Muscarella was taken into custody by deputies at an address in Ripley around 7:30 p.m., on a warrant out of the Erie County Pennsylvania Sheriff's office. Muscarella was allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marihuana at the time of his arrest. Muscarella was arraigned as a fugitive from justice in Westfield Town Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail until extradition to Erie County Pennsylvania. Muscarella was issued an appearance ticket for the marihuana and will answer the charge in Ripley Town Court on a later date.
MAYVILLE - Gregory R. Pattison, 41, of Lister Street in Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault on Friday, June 29.
According to the sheriff's office, while incarcerated on two counts of first-degree murder, inmate Pattison allegedly assaulted another inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail around 7:30 a.m. This assault allegedly resulted in the inmate receiving facial injuries in addition to numerous bruising and swelling of the facial and head area. Pattison was arrested and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court on a later date.
MAYVILLE - Shaibu Alfa, 38, of Mayville was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated per se 0.18 percent blood alcohol content or higher , DWI common law and failure to keep right on Saturday, June 30.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies allegedly observed a vehicle cross the double solid center line on Morris Street in the Village of Mayville around 2:30 a.m. The vehicle was stopped a short time later after it turned onto Valley Street. Alfa was allegedly found to be the operator and an investigation into the stop led to his arrest. He was issued traffic tickets and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Kelly A. Blakeslee, 22, of Baker Street in Jamestown was charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Saturday, June 30.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies were dispatched to The Dollar General Store in the Town of Westfield for a reported larceny around 4:45 p.m. Further investigation into the incident revealed Blakeslee had allegedly stolen merchandise from the store and had the merchandise in her possession. Blakeslee also allegedly had in her possession a baggie containing two white pills identified as a controlled substance and obtainable by prescription only. Blakeslee was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges in Westfield Town Court.
