SHERMAN - As summer continues marching on, I remind you all Sherman Day will take place soon. It is scheduled for Aug. 4. There is sure to be many activities and the great parade that takes place on that day. I'll have much more information on that special celebration later. I can't forget the date this year for it's on our Anniversary.
School is out for the summer and many are headed to camps. A number of families from Sherman First Baptist Church are attending Bethany Baptist Camp in Sinclairville. Although we need rain badly, we hope there is not too much. Nevertheless, I'm sure they will have a great time whatever the weather.
The Sherman Town Board meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the Town office on Mill Street.
