BUFFALO - With 1,000 in attendance on Friday, June 2, at the Lux nightclub, Westfield's Marcus Cuevas, trained by Joe Pagan, of Castricone's Martial Arts Complex, won his kickboxing match at 155 pounds, by unanimous decision.
The evening kicked off with Cuevas' win, setting a precedent for an impressive sweep by the Castricone Camp, including two knockouts. Cuevas dominated all three rounds. Cuevas is preparing for his upcoming fight on July 14, being held at the Jamestown Ice Arena, before leaving for basic training for the United States Army.
Among the winners for Castricone's was Santino Castricone, earning him the NYS Junior Lightweight Title over Carl Thomann.

Joey Yammarino, after almost being knocked unconscious, came back to TKO his opponent in the third round, for the win.
Alex Petrusek was rocked in the first round by an overhand right, that sent him into the ropes, however, he came back to win by TKO over Henry Van Buren in the second round.
Anthony Decino won via TKO in the third round over Sam Martin.
