Westfield summer recreation fees update
Thanks to Union Relief, Westfield Area Community Service Organization and Westfield Women's Organization, youth through age 17 can swim for free at Welch Field Pool during afternoon and evening open and family swim times again this summer.
The all inclusive nominal fees put in place this summer for all ages covers participation in swim lessons, swim team, lap swim, aquacize, wee woozles, the Welch Field summer recreation program, summer drama workshop and basketball and weight training. Scholarship assistance is available where needed, so all can be a part of summer fun in 2012.
Welch Field summer programs
The Welch Field summer recreation program for school-age kids began on Monday, June 25 at 9 a.m. Parents can still register their children at the program site when dropping their children off. For more information telephone the Welch Field Office at 326-4441.

Welch Field summer program

Skate park hours
The Westfield Skate Park is open from 3 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Helmets are required and a number of them are available for use at the skate park.
Help with yard work and odd jobs
Westfield residents needing help with yard work and odd jobs are asked to call the Westfield Recreation Department at 326-4243 and it will assist in arranging for a local teen to help.
