On Wednesday, June 13, a Brocton man was charged with drug offenses after an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Around 5:15 p.m. members of the STRDT and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office located and arrested Ryan M. Falco, 28, of Brocton, at a residence on Van Buren Road in the Town of Pomfret. A warrant had been issued for Falco after he was indicted by a secret Chautauqua County Grand Jury.
Falco is charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. It is alleged by the members of the STRDT that Falco sold quantities of pharmaceuticals to agents of the police at locations within the City of Dunkirk. This investigation has been ongoing for several months. Falco was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail pending his arraignment before Judge John Ward in the Chautauqua County Court.
Authorities continue to ask members of the public to contact either the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force or local police regarding any suspected narcotics related activity.
