WESTFIELD - Beatrice Pauline (Lillie) Robinson, age 92, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Westfield, N.Y., and Erie, Pa., died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at home in Portland.
Pauline, as she was known, was born on Feb. 17, 1920 in Westfield, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Wilhelmina (Karrow) Lillie.
Pauline was a 1938 graduate of Westfield High School and lived in Erie, Pa., most of her life, where she was employed as a social work case manager for GECAC, serving elderly and low income families. She retired from GECAC in 1989 and moved to Oregon in 1995 to be closer to her daughter. However, Pauline would travel back to the area several times a year to visit family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Robinson of Portland, Ore., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Robinson, who died on Aug. 3, 1967; her three brothers, Richard Lillie, George Edward Lillie and Donald Lillie; and her four sisters, Fae Koshute, Faith Lewis, Marguerite Bowen and Mary Carr.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, June 16 at 1 p.m., in the Westfield Cemetery on Academy Street in Westfield with Rev. Stephen Morse officiating.
