WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Victoria Parker of Mayville graduated from Lycoming College on Sunday, May 6. Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts in archaeology and theatre.
Approximately 290 students participated in the commencement ceremonies, which took place Sunday afternoon on the college's quad. The commencement speaker was Dr. David Warren, president of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
GENESEO, N.Y. - The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the spring semester 2012. To be on the list, a student must have achieved a 3.5 grade point average while taking at least 12 credit hours.

OSWEGO, N.Y. - Sara Fochtman of Westfield, a sophomore adolescence education major, has been named to the President's List for the spring semester at SUNY Oswego.
The President's and Deans' lists represent the academic top 28.8 percent of the Oswego student body. Students who achieve grade averages of 3.80 and above on the 4.00 scale are named to the President's List, the top 7.3 percent of Oswego students.
HOLLAND, Mich. - Brittany Steeg, daughter of James and Susanne Steeg of Westfield, is named to the Dean's List for the second semester of the 2011-12 school year. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
JAMESTOWN - The 126th annual commencement exercises for Jamestown Business College were held Saturday, May 26 at the First Lutheran Church in Jamestown.
Douglas Schutte, president of the board of trustees, presented 135 graduates with bachelor and associate degrees and certificates in business administration and administrative assistant programs.
Rosanne Johanson, Vice President, presented awards to those graduates who achieved the highest grade point averages in the Bachelor and Associate Degree programs, respectively. One of the graduates receiving awards was Bridget Lynch of Mayville.
