CHAUTAUQUA - The 26th annual Pro-Am Charity Golf Tournament at Chautauqua Golf Club will be held on Monday, June 25 at the Chautauqua Golf Club where area professionals will be paired with local golfers for a day of exciting play.
Tournament play will begin at 1 p.m., following lunch and driving range and putting practice. Cocktails and dinner will follow play at 5:30 p.m., and are available for players and non-players alike.
The proceeds from this year's event will be donated to the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy, an organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the water quality, scenic beauty and ecological health of the lakes, streams and watersheds of the Chautauqua region. CWC works with residents, landscapers, contractors, public officials, governmental entities and other organizations to promote best land management practices and to preserve and restore the waterways and watersheds of the Chautauqua region. To date, CWC has led efforts resulting in the conservation of more than 688 acres of land across Chautauqua County and two miles of Chautauqua Lake and Outlet shoreline.

The tournament is limited to 110 amateur players and 250 diners, so anyone interested in participating is encouraged to register early. Dinner includes a selection of beef tenderloin, salmon and pasta. The cost for golfing and dinner is $125 per player, and the cost for dinner without golfing is $50 per person. Various levels of sponsorships for the event are also available, and any sponsors responding before Friday, June 15 will be guaranteed placement in the event program and all media promotions. Early sponsors include NRG, Pepsi and Seneca Eye Surgeons.
