Year-end pre-school celebration, graduation
The YWCA assembly room was decorated in persimmon and brimming with excitement for the 2012 year end celebration for this year's graduating pre-school class. Three students moved into kindergarten while 13 other students and three guests joined in the celebration of another great year of pre-school and day care. Terri MacCubbin, Julie Devlin and Jill Scarpine led the children in song while family and friends enjoyed the presentation and breakfast together. Many smiles and some tears were shared.
The pre-school day care center will continue into the summer and fall, and pre-school for 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds will start up again Sept. 17. Anyone interested in joining the program should contact Child Services Director Brenda Backus at 326-4012.
