If you are ever in doubt that angels exist, please take a moment to read this letter.
I am the "Nana" of 6-year-old Cassidy. The Westfield Emergency Squad was dispatched to my home on Monday, April 30.
Cassidy was unresponsive and in distress from a seizure. She was assessed by the EMT team and transported to Westfield Memorial Hospital ER. I had never experienced such immediate response and professional service from an emergency. These angels were amazing - from the Westfield Emergency Squad to the Westfield Memorial Hospital emergency room staff and Dr. Grant Stephenson. Everyone was fabulous in taking care of little Cassidy.
Many thanks to all of you for being a huge part in saving my granddaughter's life. Yes, you helped save her life. We were told by the head of Neurology at Children's Hospital in Buffalo that everyone involved with Cassidy's care did everything right in saving her life.
Through your direct communication with them and your exemplary care of Cassidy, they were able to begin treatment for her once she was airlifted to Buffalo.
Again, thank you for being God's angels in Westfield, N.Y., who saves lives. You are priceless.
