Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

MAYVILLE - An elderly volunteer is looking to get her purse back.

On the morning of April 4, a black purse containing a wallet with photographs and car keys was taken from the Mayville Food Pantry. The owner of the purse, a 90-year-old woman who was volunteering at the pantry, is asking for the photographs to be returned as they are of her deceased son and are irreplaceable. She is not interested in pressing charges. Anyone who can return the photographs, wallet, purse or any of its contents is encouraged to call 753-2174, the pantry at 753-2172 or drop it off at the pantry, located at 99 South Erie Street in Mayville. No questions will be asked.
