WESTFIELD - Michelle M. Logan, 44, of East Route 20 in Westfield was charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, fail to keep right, cross hazard markings and violation of restricted license on Sunday, April 29.
According to the police office, police stopped a vehicle on East Main Street at around 1:30 a.m., for allegedly crossing the white hazard markings and the centerline of the roadway multiple times. During the traffic stop, it is alleged the operator of the vehicle, Logan, was intoxicated. Logan was arrested and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Enrique Nolasco Aguilar, 25, of Guatemala was charged with failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, unlicensed driving and driving while intoxicated and both Aguilar and Bianer Lopez-Morales, 24, of Mexico were allegedly found to be in the United States illegally on Sunday, April 29.
According to the police office, police stopped a vehicle on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield around 9:15 p.m. Upon further investigation, it was allegedly found the driver of the vehicle, Aguilar, was intoxicated and also did not posses a driver's license. It was also allegedly found that Aguilar and Lopez-Morales were in the U.S. illegally. Both subjects were taken into custody. Lopez-Morales was later turned over the U.S. Border Patrol agents. Aguilar was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $2,000 cash and $4,000 property bail. Aguilar will also be turned over to U.S. Border Patrol on a later date.
