Edward F. Skinner, 68, formerly of 841 North Main Street in Jamestown, died Friday April 27, 2012 in the Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility.
He was born Sept. 24, 1943 in Corry, Pa., the son of the late Basil and Anna Thomas Skinner.
He was a 1962 graduate of Youngsville High School and had been employed by National Wire in Jamestown. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed fantasy football.

He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie and Erica Skinner; three sons, Eric, Evan and Eddy Skinner; two grandsons, Kobie Skinner and Jason Skinner Jr.; three brothers, Ernest (Ellen) Skinner of Jamestown and Clarence Skinner and LaVerne (Nancy) Skinner, both of Bear Lake, Pa.; four sisters, Hazel (Dick) Carmen of Bear Lake, Pa., Betty Skinner of Ripley, N.Y., Esther Jaggi and Marjorie (Charles) Kopta; and several nieces and nephews, including Robert (Martha) Skinner of Sinclairville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
The funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Samuel Shreffler, Heritage Village Chaplain, officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery Frewsburg.
