Edward C. Goodrich, 70, of 837 Prendergast Avenue passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, in Corry Manor Nursing Home, Corry, Pa.
A lifelong area resident he was born April 1, 1942 in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of the late Charles and Myrtle Stebbins Goodrich.
Before his retirement he was employed by the Crawford Furniture Company and in earlier years had worked for the former Watson Manufacturing Company for 30 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Julie (Jim) Howard of Ashville and Sheila Walters and Connie (Peter) Marucci both of Jamestown; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Jacob) Kopta of Clymer, Megan Walters, Sarah Marucci, Andrew Marucci all of Jamestown, Nathan Walters of Norfolk Va., Brandie (Dustin) Hebner of Falconer and Hailey Howard of Panama; four great grandchildren, Mason and Quinten Kopta, Ryen Hebner and Blaine Walters; a brother, R.E. Goodrich of Calif.; and two sisters, Ruth Stearns of Ashville and Betty Williams of Spartansburg, Pa.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 30 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer, pastor of the Fluvanna Community Church, officiated. Friends were received for one hour prior to the service on Monday in the funeral home.
