FREDONIA - On April 3, Fredonia troopers charged Wendell P. Mason, 46, of Ripley with driving while intoxicated after they finished a vehicle and traffic trial with him for a prior arrest.
Troopers smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from Mason during the trial. After court, troopers observed Mason operating his vehicle.
Mason's blood alcohol content was reported to be 0.13. He is due in the Village of Fredonia Court April 18.
