Easter, April 8, is a very special day when protestants celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ who came to earth from Heaven to Earth to die on the cross to be the propitiation for all man's sin if they repent and ask Him to be their Savior. There will be special music and some Cantatas in area churches. All are invited to attend one of them. Check with the church to find out the times they will be held.
The Sherman Central School youth started their two week Easter break and it continues until April 16 when school reopens. Some families are going on vacation during that time. They are wished all a good time whether it is on vacation or at home enjoying spring weather hopefully having some sunny, warm temperatures.
