WESTFIELD - Mary F. Campbell, age 97, of, Geraldine, Ala., formerly of Westfield, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Boaz, Ala.
Mary was born on May 14, 1914 in Knox, Pa., the daughter of the late Charles O. and Roxy Mae (Huntsburger) Gilger.
She had been a Westfield resident for 47 years and moved to Alabama in 1993 to be near her son. She had been employed as a LPN from 1967 to 1975 at the Chautauqua County Home and had worked for 26 years at Electric Materials in North East, Pa., as an operator.

She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Crockett of Winter Garden, Fla.; her daughter-in-laws, Phyllis Campbell of Geraldine, Ala., and Delores Campbell of Dunkirk, N.Y.; her one brother, William Gilger of Corry, Pa.; nine grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Campbell, who died on Aug. 30, 1983; her two sons, Joseph O. Campbell and Ralph P. Campbell; her three grandchildren, Connie F. Campbell, George O. Crockett and James W. Crockett, Jr.; her three brothers, Jacob "Murph," James and Charles Gilger; her three sisters, Dorothy Mong, Grace Hoyt and Goldie Jackson; and a nephew whom she raised, Douglas L. Gilger.
Friends called on Monday, April 2 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, N.Y., where the funeral service were held on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., with Rev. Matt Golibersuch officiating. Burial was in Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
