Sherman Central School's basketball teams did not win their leagues, but both of them played in the play-offs. They are all to be congratulated and also the coaches, cheerleaders and managers. The parents and friends who consistently attended the games are to be thanked too for it is a great encouragement to the players. We attended many of their games and enjoyed them all.
Bill and I also had an enjoyable time attending our granddaughter Alyssa's basketball games a couple of times. We traveled with our son Todd and his wife Kimberly, twice. The first one was at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, Pa. The second one was a play-off down near Philadelphia, Pa. We had a great time at each game. Last weekend we stayed overnight and Sunday morning we went to the church where former Shermanite Jen, daughter of Pastor Nick and Janet Nicolson, and her pastor husband and their children attend. We greatly enjoyed attending their church and going out to dinner with them before we headed home.
