WESTFIELD - Phillip J. Cunningham, 21, of Westfield was charged with third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and fourth-degree criminal mischief for an incident on Wednesday, Jan. 25.
According to the police department, at around 3:30 a.m., officers investigated a past tense assault in the Village of Westfield. Cunningham allegedly kicked in a door at a Westfield residence and assaulted a male victim by choking and head butting him. The victim received injuries which needed medical attention. On Sunday, Jan. 29, Cunningham was arrested on an active arrest warrant, arraigned in from of Judge Thomas in Westfield Village Court and released. He is expected to appear on a later date.
WESTFIELD - Bray H. Antolick, 21, of Canadaway Street in Fredonia was charged with fail to keep right, cross hazard markings and driving while intoxicated on Sunday, Jan. 29.
According to the police department, at around 1:30 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle operated by Antolick for allegedly crossing the center lines and hazard lines of the roadway for no apparent reason. During the traffic stop, Antolick was allegedly found to be operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Antolick was arrested and issued traffic tickets. He will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
